The Twins Have Arrived!

Alistair Zane and Emerick Blaise made their debut last Thursday, June 6th at 11:20 & 11:21 a.m. Alistair weighed 5 lbs. 12 oz. and Emerick weighed 5 lbs. 10 oz.  We're experiencing epic baby bliss at the Anderson home. I'll share details of their arrival when I get a chance. For now, photos of our identical cuties for your viewing pleasure. 

Numbered hats and painted toe nails were necessities for knowing who was who. 
This is what pure joy looks like.

    Awesome weights! And look at how tiny your stomach is already!!! Hope recovery is going well and that you're adjusting okay :) Wish I lived close enough to send over some food! Time to teach Thomas to cook?

      Our adjustment has been wonderful, better than I could have ever imagined possible. The big test comes today when my parents return Thomas to us... :)

    You're wearing jeans??? I dont care if they're size 32 maternity, I'm still so impressed! And I'm with Rosie, where did your stomach go? You are beautiful Ash. The perfect mother for these three souls. I love you so much!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting the photos (so I didn't have to give in to my facebook addiction to see them! :->)They are beautiful and look healthy and happy, as do you, Paul, and Thomas. I'm so glad to see you and them. I hope that all is going well, now that the family is all together again. Keeping all of you in my prayers.

      So good to hear from you, Aunt Kathy! Our family is now all together under one roof. Thomas is adjusting well. I'm ready to give him oodles of love and attention tomorrow, our first full day back together!

      Thanks, Jennie! My jeans were more comfortable to wear than the yoga pants I brought. And I think I was really wanting "normal" in that hospital space, ya know? Regardless, I did, and do, look like I had baby #3 occupying some space in my belly. :)

      Thanks, Jamie! Isn't Emeric(k) a wonderful name?! I saw that you had one a couple days before ours arrived but I couldn't comment yet since we kept our boys' names a secret. I realllly need to work on writing the birth story... I just don't know how people do it on so little sleep and with babies to cuddle. :)
